By accessing or using SignIt ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

2. Description of Service

SignIt is a cloud-based document signing platform that enables users to electronically sign, send, and manage documents.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems

5. Electronic Signatures

Documents signed through SignIt are intended to comply with applicable electronic signature laws, including the ESIGN Act (United States) and eIDAS Regulation (European Union). However, some documents may require handwritten signatures by law. It is your responsibility to determine whether an electronic signature is legally sufficient for your use case.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The SignIt name, logo, software, and branding are the intellectual property of SignIt and may not be used without prior written permission. See our Open Source Notice page for details on third-party software used in the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignIt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
